Insulating glass unit

Insulating glass minimizes the transfer of sound or heat to perform functions such as insulation performance and noise isolation. The sealant for insulating glass has to be durable because it supports the glass and the glass structure. It protects the performance (air and watertightness) of the insulating glass through excellent mechanical workability and strength.

Window perimeter

Window sealant is applied to the joints in buildings where the window and wall meet. Since it is affected by various surrounding factors (material shrinkage/expansion due to temperature change, sunlight, earthquake, etc.), excellent elasticity, adhesion, durability, and weather resistance are required. If this is not satisfied, water leakage and energy loss may occur due to discoloration, cracking, and poor adhesion of the coating film.

Fire-stop, flame retardant

Civil engineering

Civil engineering sealants are applied to construction and civil construction sites (concrete pavements, airport runways, etc.). They prevent damage and cracks that may occur due to contraction and expansion of materials with excellent elasticity and restoring force. Since they are applied mainly to the exterior of buildings, excellent weather resistance and durability are required. For products for airport runways, excellent oil resistance against aviation fuel oil is required.
