OA Roller
Many rollers for OA equipment such as printers and copiers are currently being manufactured by applying silicone. LSR is a high heat-resistant product that can withstand a temperature of about 200℃ for a long time, and has a low compression shrinkage rate to ensure long-term printing reliability. The OA Roller is manufactured by enclosing the LSR on a metal core rod such as aluminum or SUS. In this case, it is important to attach the rod and LSR, and we supply a separate primer product.

For HVI (High Voltage Insulator)
HCE for HVI registers excellent tracking, arc resistance with high electrical insulation. Furthermore, due to its excellent resistance to UV, weather and chemicals, it remains unchanged in various external natural environments (high temperature/humidity. marine/alpine). It is also widly used for electrical insulators, Surge Arrest, Hollow core, etc.
Insulators
Since liquid silicone is easy for injection molding and is simple to work with, it helps to improve productivity. Silicone is put to various applications such as insulators and surge arresters due to its excellent insulating properties, weather resistance and tracking resistance.
Hollow-core insulator
Hollow-core insulators are used as insulators for high voltage devices such as arrestors and bushings. It has excellent electrical properties such as tracking resistance and arc resistance, and is suitable for injection molding because of its low viscosity and excellent flowability.
Cable accessories
Safety comes first for cable accessories since they are buried outdoors or underground and used for a long time. We provide liquid silicone for insulation and semi-conductors that have been verified by our customers.
Primer
LSR has the disadvantage of being difficult to attach to plastics or non-ferrous metals such as FRP, TPU, or PE, so primer is a must-have product. The primer is sprayed or coated on the surface of the substrate and cured at an appropriate temperature. Our primer provides excellent adhesion to FRP and silicone.

Automotive Parts

Typical automotive parts using LSR include connector seals, O-rings, and gaskets. These parts are specially manufactured using Oil bleeding LSR, which exudes silicone oil over time after molding, giving water and airtightness between socket and plug of electronic equipment. In addition, it improves assembling workability by reducing the frictional force of module manufacturing. These automobile parts are getting lighter and smaller, and more sophisticated and detailed parts can be manufactured through LIMS (Liquid Injection Molding System) using LSR.

LSR for Airbag Coating
Automotive airbags are usually manufactured by coating LSR on textile fabrics such as nylon and polyester. Airbag coated with LSR improves its durability and protects the human body by maintaining air pressure for a certain period of time when inflated. To achieve this performance, LSR for airbag coating is designed to have excellent adhesion to fabrics, and also possesses flame retardancy and high tear properties.

General-Purpose Liquid Silicone
General-purpose liquid silicone is a highly heat-resistant product that can withstand heat up to 200℃. In addition, it is an eco-friendly product that does not generate by-products because it uses a small amount of platinum catalyst for additional curing. Due to these characteristics, LSR is widely used in baby nipples, swimming bands, medical hoses, mouth pieces, etc.

    SL80XX Series

When molding baby products with general liquid silicone, a separate post-curing process is required to meet the volatile content of 0.5% or less, which leads to increased power costs, labor costs, and decreased productivity. To solve this problem, KCC Silicone developed the SL80XX series and released the LSR that satisfies the EN 14350-2 standard without post-curing.

Advantages
  • - Low volatiles content
  • - Save time and energy because there is no post-curing process
  • - Excellent transparency and mechanical properties

LSR for Textile Coating
LSR for textile coating is in liquid form, so it is applied for textile coatings for clothing and other industries. It is not harmful to the human body and is sometimes applied to textile coatings for clothing in following the trend that favors the soft texture of silicone. In addition, when coated on industrial fibers such as glass fiber, it has excellent heat resistance, water repellency, and weather resistance, thereby improving durability. In some cases, LSR-coated fiber products with excellent flame retardancy performance are sometimes manufactured by mixing appropriate inorganic fillers and flame retardants.
