Creating value from silicone

KCC Silicone will participate in the In Cosmetics Global 2024 exhibition, taking place in Paris, France from April 16th to 18th.

The In Cosmetics exhibition is an annual global cosmetics raw materials exhibition held in Europe, Korea, Asia, and Latin America, with leading cosmetic raw material companies from around the world participating. Among them, In Cosmetics Global, held in Europe, is the world's largest exhibition.

At this exhibition, KCC Silicone will focus on promoting silicone products for sun care under the global trend of 'UV Defense'.

In particular, the company will highlight its new products, SeraSense ZD 20 and SeraSense TI 20. SeraSense ZD 20 is a follow-up version of the zinc oxide (ZnO) dispersion introduced at the previous PCHi 2024 exhibition, utilizing a different diluent oil from the previous version. While ZD 5, 6, 7 used D5, ZD 20 incorporates Dimethicone. SeraSense TI 20 is a dispersion of titanium dioxide (TiO2). Titanium dioxide is a globally used inorganic sunscreen ingredient extracted from minerals, posing minimal risk of allergy as an 'inert mineral ingredient'. It scatters light and forms a thin film when applied to the skin, physically blocking UV rays, with exceptional scattering effects and superior UV protection.

KCC Silicone's SeraSense ZD and TI products are fluid formulations uniformly dispersing zinc oxide (ZnO) and titanium dioxide (TiO2), originally in powder form. They require no separate dispersion process, thus ensuring ease of use. Moreover, their excellent dispersibility enhances stability, providing synergy for SPF.

Additionally, the company will promote SeraSilk EL 30, a gel blend with Drometrizole modified, and SeraSoft SW 74, a liquid wax with alkyl modification, as SPF boosting products.

Through this exhibition, KCC Silicone aims to promote KCC Beauty worldwide and showcase its outstanding technological prowess, emerging as a leader in leading global new markets.
