KCC Silicone is aiming at the Chinese market through its participation in 'PCHi 2024'. 2024-02-13

KCC Silicone will participate in 'PCHi 2024', the largest personal care ingredient exhibition in China, held in Shanghai from March 20 to 22, 2024.

PCHi alternates between Shanghai and Guangzhou annually. At this year's exhibition in Shanghai, KCC Silicon plans to actively promote its new products to Chinese customers. The focus will be on introducing new products and various specialty items tailored to Chinese trends, particularly emphasizing skincare products.

One of the highlighted new products will be the ZD series, a zinc oxide dispersion. Zinc oxide is an inorganic sunscreen that reflects sunlight to block UVA and UVB rays. It is more stable and offers superior blocking effects compared to chemical organic sunscreens. However, due to its powder form, it tends to clump when directly applied to cosmetics, making dispersion challenging and potentially reducing its effectiveness.

KCC Silicone's ZD series addresses this issue by uniformly dispersing zinc oxide in a fluid form, effectively blocking UVA and UVB rays while maintaining excellent dispersibility for easy application. In particular, the use of their proprietary polyglyceryl-modified dispersant, SeraSol PF 106, ensures excellent dispersion stability. The ZD series consists of products such as ZD-5 and ZD-6, which feature hydrogen dimethicone to prevent clumping, and ZD-7, which includes triethoxycaprylylsilane for improved spreadability.

In addition, KCC Silicone will also promote SeraSilk EL 30, a SPF boosting gel that has received positive feedback since its debut at In-Cosmetics Asia, and SeraSense RBS 11, a thixotropic film former with excellent compatibility with cosmetic ingredients.

Through participation in this exhibition, KCC Silicone aims to actively promote the KCC brand and its products, strengthen its presence in the Chinese market, and explore new opportunities.
