Creating value from silicone

KCC Silicone will attend NYSCC Supplier’s Day 2026, New York, from May 19 to 20, as part of its ongoing efforts to expand its presence in the North American personal care market.

Hosted by the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC), the exhibition is recognized as one of the region’s leading events for cosmetic and personal care ingredients. The show gathers global ingredient manufacturers, beauty companies, and R&D specialists to exchange insights on emerging technologies and explore business opportunities. Following its participation in PCHi China and in-cosmetics Global earlier this year, KCC Silicone continues to broaden its global market outreach through major international exhibitions.

Growing interest in clean beauty and sustainability across North America is increasing demand for environmentally conscious cosmetic ingredients, particularly amid heightened discussions surrounding microplastic regulations. At the same time, consumers continue to seek enhanced texture, wearability, and overall formulation performance, driving demand for silicone technologies that combine functional benefits with premium sensory experiences.

At this year’s exhibition, KCC Silicone will introduce a distinctive portfolio of silicone materials designed for applications such as sun care, skincare, and color cosmetics. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore live formulation demonstrations and receive technical consultation at the company’s booth.

Among the featured products is SeraSense® RBS 12, a newly launched silicone resin blend incorporating thixotropic technology. The material spreads smoothly during application while creating a durable and uniform film after use. Its ability to improve long-wear performance and reduce smudging and transfer in sun care and makeup formulations has attracted strong interest at previous global exhibitions.

KCC Silicone will also highlight SeraSilk® PDA 90, a microplastic-free powder gel blend formulated with evenly dispersed naturally derived silica powder. The product delivers a soft-focus effect together with a lightweight, silky, and powdery sensory profile.

Another featured material, SeraSense® AG 21, is a multifunctional silicone ingredient suitable for various color cosmetic applications, including foundations, lip products, and eye makeup. In addition to delivering gloss and long-lasting performance, it also serves as an effective inorganic pigment dispersant.

Additional high-performance materials on display will include SeraSoft® SW 74, a silicone wax-based ingredient offering formulation stability and smooth skin adhesion, as well as SeraSilk® EL 31, a drometrizole-modified gel blend known for its excellent spreadability and dispersibility.
