Developed with KCC Silicone’s exclusive technology, SeraSense® RBS 12 is a high-performance silicone film former that redefines sensorial experience in cosmetic formulations. With its outstanding performance, the product is expected to expand its applications across the market. 

At the core of the technology is its temperature-responsive, thixotropic behavior: under shear or external stress, viscosity decreases to enable effortless spreading, then rapidly recovers to a stable, gel-like structure. This adaptive rheology offers a unique transition from a soft, fluid application to a stable film.

Its advanced molecular architecture, combining polar functionality with alkyl compatibility, enables seamless integration with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients. Compared to conventional resin systems, it delivers reduced tack with superior film strength and uniformity.

Even under exposure to sweat and sebum, the product maintains its durability, making it ideal for long-wear sun care and high-performance color cosmetics.
