One of the featured innovations is SeraSense RBS 12, which will begin full-scale promotion in 2026.

SeraSense RBS 12 (Isododecane (and) Trimethylsiloxysilicate) is a gel-type resin whose viscosity responds to temperature and external pressure. It offers excellent compatibility with polar and organic ingredients commonly used in cosmetic formulations. During application, it spreads smoothly and flexibly across the skin, while forming a strong and uniform film as it sets, enhancing adhesion and wear. In sun care and makeup formulations, the ingredient helps improve long-lasting performance by reducing smudging and fading.

KCC Silicone will also highlight two strategic ingredients: SeraSense SS 15, a UVB absorber, and SeraSilk PDA 90, a silicone gel blend incorporating microplastic-free spherical silica.

SeraSense SS 15 (Polysilicone-15) is an organic UV filter that effectively absorbs UVB radiation, helping protect the skin from sun exposure while improving formulation stability by minimizing discoloration. Suitable for both sun care and color cosmetics, the ingredient is expected to significantly strengthen KCC Silicone’s UV protection portfolio.

SeraSilk PDA 90 (Dimethicone, Silica, Polysilicone-11) is a specialty material developed using KCC Silicone’s proprietary technology. It combines spherical silica powder—a naturally derived ingredient not classified as microplastic—with an amorphous silicone gel matrix. The product delivers a distinctive sensory profile, offering the powdery finish and soft-focus effect of spherical silica together with smooth, moisturizing adhesion.

In addition, at international exhibitions such as In-cosmetics and HPCi, KCC Silicone will highlight its SPF-boosting materials SeraSilk EL 31 and SeraSoft SW 74, both of which have received strong customer feedback. The company will also introduce SeraSense AG 21, designed to deliver luxurious shine and long-lasting performance in color makeup formulations. Together, these products provide a comprehensive showcase of KCC Silicone’s high-performance specialty materials and advanced formulation technologies.

Through its participation in this exhibition, KCC Silicone aims to actively present its distinctive technological capabilities and diverse product portfolio to the Chinese market. The company will also strengthen technical marketing and provide customized consultations for local customers. These efforts are expected to enhance brand recognition and trust within the Chinese cosmetics industry, deepen partnerships with existing customers, and create new business opportunities through engagement with emerging brands and partners.
