KCC Silicone’s Jeonju Plant held an Industrial Accident Prevention Resolution Ceremony on July 17, ahead of its scheduled summer maintenance period (July 30–August 3), to reaffirm its commitment to zero-accident operations. The event was organized to emphasize the importance of industrial safety in collaboration with partner companies and to pledge the completion of maintenance work without accidents. Representatives from key partner companies participating in the maintenance period attended the ceremony. Each company presented its own safety management plans and signed a resolution, reinforcing their shared commitment to safety. The resolution clearly stated core principles such as "Work only after ensuring maximum safety" and "No work unless it is safe." It also included a firm pledge to thoroughly conduct pre-work risk assessments (JSA, TBM) and to respond proactively to maintenance-related risks or faulty conditions during operations. A total of 13 partner companies, including KCC Silicone, participated in the ceremony. Company representatives and responsible personnel signed the resolution, clearly demonstrating a collective sense of responsibility. The representatives emphasized, “We will not only ensure safety at our respective sites but also practice safety with a united spirit across all worksites,” highlighting their solidarity. The plant manager of KCC Silicone’s Jeonju Plant stated, “The maintenance period carries a higher risk of accidents and therefore demands extra vigilance,” and added, “We will continue to promote a culture of voluntary safety together with our partner companies.” This resolution ceremony is expected to serve as a catalyst for spreading a more systematic safety culture throughout the industrial sites in the Jeonju region. ![]() |
