KCC Silicone to Participate in In-Cosmetics Korea 2025, Highlighting ‘Sustainability’ and ‘High-Performance’ Silicone Solutions 2025-06-23

KCC Silicone will participate in In-Cosmetics Korea 2025, to be held from July 2 to 4 at COEX, Seoul. As Korea’s leading exhibition dedicated to cosmetic ingredients, the event serves as a key platform for domestic and international beauty industry professionals to exchange the latest technologies and global trends.

This marks KCC Silicone’s first domestic exhibition participation since its official merger with global silicone company Momentive Korea in January 2025. At In-Cosmetics Korea 2025, KCC plans to formally introduce a wide range of new products from KCC Beauty and Momentive to its domestic clients.

During the exhibition, KCC will carry out aggressive promotional activities focusing on next-generation silicone solutions that combine sustainability and high functionality. Key products include SeraSilk® PDA 90 and SeraSense® AG 21, along with the jointly developed, 100% naturally derived elastomer Harmonie™ NatuVel Gel, which will be showcased in the Innovation Zone. This lineup emphasizes both sustainable development and technological innovation.

A highlight of the exhibition is SeraSilk® PDA 90 (Dimethicone (and) Silica (and) Polysilicone-11 (and) Cetyl Alcohol), a blend of microplastic-free powder and elastomer. This product features a unique combination of naturally derived silica and Polysilicone-11. Silica offers a soft-focus effect and a matte finish, while Polysilicone-11 provides a smooth application feel and wrinkle-blurring properties, making it a top-tier solution for high-performance formulations.

Also featured is SeraSense® AG 21 (Bis-C16-18 Alkyl Glyceryl Undecyl Dimethicone), a modified silicone fluid with pendant alkyl and glyceryl groups. This structure enhances interaction between hydrophobic and hydrophilic elements, enabling stable pigment dispersion. The ingredient creates a subtle gloss and a long-lasting moisture barrier on the skin, making it ideal for long-wear makeup formulations.

The Harmonie™ NatuVel Gel, a 100% naturally derived elastomer, offers a soft feel and a blurring effect. It boasts excellent compatibility with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients, particularly UV filters, enhancing its versatility in formulation development.

In addition to these core products, KCC Silicone will also showcase a new emulsifier, Momentive’s high melting point wax, and a shea butter emulsion, expanding its lineup of raw materials and offering greater flexibility in formulation.

A KCC Silicone representative stated,
“Through this exhibition, we aim to directly introduce our portfolio aligned with the two key trends of sustainability and high functionality to both domestic and international clients, thereby strengthening our position in the global beauty market.”
“We will continue to invest in the development of innovative silicone ingredients that meet the evolving needs of our customers and the industry.”

KCC Silicone expects this exhibition to serve as a stepping stone for strengthening partnerships with global and local clients, securing its competitiveness in the Korean market, and accelerating its global expansion.
