KCC Silicone will host the ‘KCC Beauty Seminar in Thailand,’ a raw material seminar with key Thai cosmetics partners, on March 26, 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand.

KCC Silicone has established strong collaborative relationships with multiple Thai cosmetics partners through aggressive market promotion, targeting Thailand’s rapidly growing personal care sector, particularly among the MZ generation. The upcoming ‘KCC Beauty Seminar in Thailand’ in Bangkok will welcome over 30 local cosmetics companies, including major Thai players such as SJI, ILC, and KM, providing them with an opportunity to experience KCC Beauty.

Under the theme ‘Silicone Unlocked: The Hidden Power of Beauty,’ the seminar will introduce KCC Silicone’s latest innovations and specialty products applicable across various cosmetics categories, including skincare, sun care, hair care, and makeup, tailored to Southeast Asian trends.

The seminar will highlight the newly promoted product for 2025, SeraSense AG 21.

SeraSense AG 21 (Bis-C16-18 Alkyl Glyceryl Undecyl Dimethicone) is a silicone fluid that combines both hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties, thanks to its pendant-type glyceryl undecyl modification. This product enhances pigment dispersion within formulations, provides a subtle gloss, and helps maintain moisture and color vibrancy.

As for strategic specialty products, KCC Silicone will focus on sun care silicone solutions such as SeraSilk EL 30 and SeraSilk PDA 90, a microplastic-free silica-infused silicone gel blend.

SeraSilk EL 30 (Dimethicone, Drometrizole Dimethicone/Bis-Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer) is a functional silicone elastomer blend that incorporates Drometrizole, a UV filter, into a gel format. It effectively boosts SPF levels while helping to maintain SPF protection. It also exhibits excellent compatibility with other UV filters commonly used in sun care cosmetics. Like other silicone gel blends, it imparts a smooth, silky feel, enabling the creation of non-sticky, matte-finish sun care products.

SeraSilk PDA 90 (Dimethicone, Silica, Polysilicone-11) is a specialty product featuring a unique formulation combining non-spherical, amorphous silicone gel with spherical silica powder—recognized as a natural-origin, microplastic-free ingredient. Developed with KCC Silicone’s proprietary technology, this product offers a distinctive sensory profile, balancing a powdery soft-focus effect with a soft and hydrating adherence to the skin.

In addition to these, KCC Silicone will also promote SeraSoft SW 74, an SPF-boosting liquid wax product that has been well received at international exhibitions such as In-Cosmetics and PCHi. Through this event, KCC Silicone will introduce a wide range of high-performance, high-technology specialty products in greater depth.
